Should your create mlm leads online or offline?

So what do you think?

Should you be marketing your network
marketing online…or…offline?

I hope this article will tweak your thinking.

I believe the simple answer is both, all
network marketing professionals should know
how to generate leads, all the leads they can
anyway they can, but let’s examine this
question in more detail.

I believe the goal of every network marketing
professional should strive to master prospecting
in a logical, sequential order.

STEP ONE Learn how to correctly gather
Warm Market Referrals

STEP TWO Learn how to recruit in
your local market

STEP THREE Learn how to recruit
with newspaper advertising

STEP FOUR Learn how to recruit with
direct mail and postcards

STEP FIVE Learn how to recruit with
Funded Proposals

STEP SIX Learn how to recruit online

STEP SEVEN Learn how to recruit with voice
broadcasting
to purchased leads

Anyone who learns the above 7 steps in a logical
sequential
order will become a Master
Prospector within this industry. There are great
courses in the market place by accomplished MLM
Professionals on all of the above sections.

Now, depending on your opportunity it may make
more sense to reverse Step two Local market
and Step six online recruiting. A general rule is if
you market a service, market it online, if you market
a physical product master local market recruiting
and prospecting.

In general physical products need more explanations,
real local testimonies, and someone locally who can
answer questions, and provide exceptional customer
service. Many services are self explanatory.

From a recruiting standpoint, it is much easier
recruiting and developing a team locally than it
is all over the world. Summer Cookouts, Christmas
parties, and other group activities can bond local
members of your team and create a different kind
of dynamic that simply isn’t available when you
have team members scattered all over the world.

By focusing on building a strong local team your
organization will naturally expand. Local team members
will end up adding people from their circle of influence
on their team from multiple geographical locations,
this is a natural progression.

When your organization spreads because of
relationships it is much stronger than if you
have a group of people that meet online. Again,
some programs and make sense to market online
first, but most will grow much quicker and faster
when you follow the sequential order above.

As a network marketing professional, you should
strive to MASTER all levels of prospecting. Even
if you think you can build your team using one or
two methods, many of your team members will
need multiple methods. It is your job as a network
marketing leader to learn multiple prospecting methods
so you can you can teach your team in a logical,
sequential order.

The first companies that started selling leads
to MLM distributors started in the mid nineties.
There is no question that since that time
network marketers have wasted more money
and time on the phone with purchased MLM
leads than any other activity.

All I can say is at least these uninformed distributors
were willing to “DO SOMETHING”.  The best lead
you can generate is the one you generate yourself.

I believe that the only time to purchase leads is
after you are earning a full time income as we

statement from marketing legend Art Williams
“You perfect prospect is between 25 – 35 years
old, married, own a home and haven’t made it
yet, but want to really bad”

This is one of the most powerful statements I have
heard from any trainer. 

What if ………

You could isolate everyone within your city or state
that meets the above criteria?    Then send them
a direct mail letter or postcard regarding your
opportunity.   That is just one of the unique methods

Create MLM Leads with a Bag of Rocks

Evidently this is common place for the Atlanta
area, but I had never seen it before.

When I got home tonight I found a bag of
rocks on my drive way with an add for a
House Cleaning Service.

Would this work for network marketing?

Probably so, especially if you add a couple
of 100 Bill drop cards in the bag.

All lead generation is about numbers and
simply getting your message in front of
the right people at the right TIME in their
life.

The truth about Network Marketing Leads

I would like for you to look at the concept
of buying leads and pounding the phones
from a different prospective.

I know this has worked for a very small
percentage of network marketers, most
of whom had prior cold calling experience.

You have to understand.  Even if you can
afford spending hundreds of dollars monthly
for a fresh supply of leads.

Even if you are able to make this system
profitable, without question 90+ percent
of your team members will not have success
with this method.

In short, IT IS NOT DUPLICATABLE by the
masses.

Network Marketing is not about innovation,
it is about duplication!

The Best MLM Leads are the ones the you create Yourself

is the best place to buy mlm leads?

but seriously don’t even consider buy network marketing
leads until you are making an full time income.

Even then, don’t waste your time calling them, use a Phone
Broadcasting Company.

Are you burning money buying MLM Leads?

It seems like more and more I am getting the same question
from customers and clients regarding MLM Leads. They all
want to know, should I stop spending money for mlm leads?

For some of these clients and customers the answer was Yes, absolutely!
For others, the answer was No!

Let me explain.

When you entire the network marketing industry, there are skills and
attitudes that must be developed in order for you to become a professional
in the industry. What careers offer you the opportunity to earn a six figure
a year income, without training?

None that I can think of, what about you?

Creating MLM Leads with Newspaper Advertising

Last night I was skimming the MLM Forums and I read this
post titled  ” Crossing my Fingers I am Running an Ad on Sunday”

   

So, I’m running this ad on Sunday:

Home Business Opportunity
Make $500-1000 monthly
No Signup fees or gimmicks

Newspaper MLM Leads

[website link to capture page]

It cost me $60 for one day. The Sunday
readership is supposed to be 604,000 people.

How many leads do you think this will turn up?

I sure hope at least 30. Anyone care to share
experiences on newspaper advertising?

This was followed by many people who had never
had success running newspaper advertising, giving their
opinion and telling him what he was doing wrong.

The truth is, they are good people that are trying to
help, and most of their suggestions were right on.

Anyway, here was his follow up message after the
ad ran:

I got 3 leads and have booked one appointment.
I’m writing this off as a “stupid tax” as Dave Ramsey
would say…

I needed to know what kind of response I was going
to have and the only way to know is to give it a go…
It was $60 (though I could have gotten better returns
for the money) it’s not like it’s going to get my lights cut
off – haha.

HERE WAS MY RESPONSE


Most prospecting methods take a while to perfect.

I was personally sponsored when I answered a
newspaper ad. (I made my sponsor 1/4
million dollars over the next 3 years)

I have personally sponsored over 100 people
with newspaper ads during my time building and
kept 4 different ads rotating every week.

You can get a free report on newspaper advertising
at www.newspapersponsoring.com with a lot of
tips.

As a genral rule if you are advertising online send prospects
to a website. If you are advertising in your local market
use a phone number as Jack was saying.

Also if your paper has a BUSINESS OPPORTUNTY section
advertise there, less response but very qualified.

Don’t stop using print media, but try Thrifty Nickel and pick
up papers they are a lot less expensive and a good place to
test your ad copy.

I have proven to myself that every prospecting methods,
newspapers, direct mail letters, pull flyers, drop cards,
postcards, etc will eventually bring you a team member
that will pay for every promotion you ever do throughout
your career.

Create leads every way you possibly can.  Set up an
advertising budget for your business.  Then master 1
prospecting method at a time.  Focus on newspaper ads
until you master it, then move on to another prospecting
method.

Master 12 or so lead generation methods, and you will
never have to worry about finding prospects again.
Running the right newspaper advertising campaigns can
provide you a predictable flow of prospects every week.

I have countless number of coaching clients and customers
that are doing this very successfully and you can too.

CREATING SYSTEMS TO PROVIDE YOU LEADS IS SIMPLE
WHEN YOU FOLLOW THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY SUCCESSFULLY
DONE WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.

This young man would have been much better off if he had
invested in my Newspaper Sponsoring Course  BEFORE he
spent $60 on the ad.

In today’s marketing world there is no need for  hit and miss
mistakes.  “A wise person learns from their own mistakes, but a
really wise person learns from the mistakes of others”

About a year and a half ago, I had to remind my self of this fact.

I decided to run paid Facebook Ad campaigns.  If you have done
this you know how frustrating it can be getting ads approved, but
because of the targeting how profitable as well.  I really became
frustrated with the entire process.  In December I purchased
a Facebook Ad Course from a wise marketer.  I learned his system
and duplicated it, and right now Facebook Ads are my #1 paid
source of traffic.

I love it because I can target exactly the people I am looking for
and like Google, don’t pay a penny if unless they click.

All MLM Lead Generation systems work, the secret is to duplicate
the success of others.   You will never learn how to successfully
do anything reading a gob of opinions on forums, you learn like
I did.

You find someone who has done what you want to do a duplicate

IS THE MLM LEAD GENERATION WITH ATTRACTION MARKETING BS?

Every network marketing distributor seems to be looking for the magic network
marketing lead source that is going to supply them an ongoing stream of fresh
mlm leads contacting them with credit card in hand begging you to join your
opportunity.  I even saw a website this week were some one was promising to
teach you how to make that happen.   Now that is BS!
